Josh Walker plays a vital role on Maybell’s Customer Support and Dispatch team, where he ensures that shipments stay on track for on-time delivery. His daily responsibilities include assisting with freight coverage, building loads, setting appointments, and providing timely updates to customers. His attention to detail and proactive communication help keep operations flowing efficiently.
Before joining Maybell, Josh built a diverse background that combines discipline, adaptability, and hands-on experience. He completed the fire academy at Utah Valley University and became a certified firefighter. He also worked in pest control and lawn care, and spent two years in logistics as an account manager. In addition, Josh is an entrepreneur who owns a seasonal business in Utah called Utah Glow Co., a Christmas light company he operates during the winter.
Josh joined Maybell at a time when he was exploring new career paths, and the opportunity turned out to be a great fit. What he enjoys most about Maybell is the people he works with. He genuinely gets along with everyone on the team and values the positive and collaborative environment.
His biggest motivators are his wife and their baby on the way, both of whom inspire him to keep growing and giving his best. Outside of work, Josh is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing golf, basketball, and competes in both softball and flag football leagues during the fall.
Known for his easygoing nature and strong work ethic, Josh brings a dependable, team-first mindset to everything he does. Whether handling urgent logistics or helping a teammate, he consistently shows up with a great attitude and a willingness to make things happen.
